Emblems
You’ll earn the Third Unknown raid emblem for completing The Desert Perpetual on any difficulty. Additionally, you can earn the Power Hues Emblem by watching any Destiny 2 stream on Twitch on July 19 from 6 AM to 6 PM PT. You’ll be able to get the Golden Relief emblem by gifting a Twitch subscription in the Destiny 2 category streaming the raid from 6PM PT on July 19 until 10 AM PT on July 29.

The Desert Perpetual Contest Mode

From: July 19, 2025 at 8:00am – July 21, 2025 at 5:00pm
If you manage to complete all encounters in The Desert Perpetual within the first 48 hours, you will receive the Timeline’s Blade Raid Emblem.
Contest Mode Disabled Items
According to a post by Bungie, the following items will be disabled during Contest Mode. They may be equipped, but their effects won’t work in the raid itself.
- Weapons
- Outbreak Perfected
- Third Iteration
- Choir of One
- Icebreaker
- Armor
- Set Bonus perks on the Collective Psyche armor set.
- Distribution Armor Mod.
