July 5, 2025 – FTR vs. The Outrunners, All Star 8-Woman Tag, Adam Cole Speaks, More

AEW Collision Preview

AEW Collision marks its monumental 100th episode this Saturday, July 5, emanating from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on TNT and streaming on Max. AEW Collision 100 features a 3-Way Match involving members of The Hurt Syndicate, JetSpeed and The Patriarchy, tensions boiling over between FTR and The Outrunners, AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole sharing his thoughts, and much more.

Here’s your full AEW Collision preview for July 5, 2025:

Shelton Benjamin vs. Kevin Knight vs. Nick Wayne

At Dynamite 300, JetSpeed stormed the stage in Ontario, CA, to ambush The Hurt Syndicate, resulting in a violent brawl in which both Speedball Bailey and Kevin Knight were beaten down. Despite that, Knight defiantly demanded a Collision match — which set the stage for his showdown with Shelton Benjamin.

On the flip side, on last week’s Collision, Christian Cage crashed a backstage interview with MVP, calling him out over his past and repeatedly taunting him, as he and son Nick Wayne have set their sights on the AEW World Tag Team Championship. In a digital exclusive clip this week, Renee Paquette spoke with The Hurt Syndicate when Nick Wayne interrupted. He emphasized the shared ambition between himself and Christian Cage to pursue the gold — only to be assaulted.

With JetSpeed and The Patriarchy hot on the heels of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Benjamin steps into a heated three-way battle against Knight and Wayne on Saturday night.

FTR vs. The Outrunners

Over the past month, what began as a mentor-protégé relationship between FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) and the Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) has rapidly deteriorated into outright hostility, stemming in part from Truth and Turbo’s decision on the June 21 episode of Collision to save Adam Cole and Bandido from a joint beatdown by FTR and the Don Callis Family.

Last week, FTR – flanked by their agent, Big Stoke — publicly addressed the Outrunners, accusing them of betraying the very guidance and opportunities FTR provided. In response, Turbo Floyd called FTR’s support a “mistake,” insisting they never needed them and that their goal is to “whoop FTR’s ass.” The Outrunners then challenged the former champions to prove their worth in the ring.

Which tandem will prove their dominance and leave with bragging rights?

All-Star 8-Woman Tag Team Match: Thunder Rosa, Queen Aminata, Anna Jay & Tay Melo vs. ROH Women’s World Champion Athena, Thekla, Megan Bayne & Julia Hart

These women have clashed in singles matches, tag team showcases of various sizes, backstage ambushes, and postmatch beatdowns over the past month, and the action has been must-see every single time. All eight women looking to beat the members of the other team to a pulp promises to be a highlight of Collision 100.

Místico, Hologram & Mark Briscoe vs. Hechicero & RPG Vice

The legendary Místico teams up with the Conglomeration’s Hologram and Mark Briscoe to battle the Don Callis Family’s Hechicero and RPG Vice (Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero). Briscoe has had his fair share of run-ins with the Family over the past few months, and both he and Místico have crossed paths with MJF and The Hurt Syndicate, as well. But the Conglomeration will need to maintain their focus on the heavy hitters in the ring in this one.

AEW TNT Champion Adam Cole Speaks

“Storytime with Adam Cole, Bay Bay!” Multiple contenders have stepped up to stake their claim for the AEW TNT Championship, and Adam Cole is set to address all comers. What message will Cole have for his challengers on this landmark episode?

Kyle Fletcher vs. Daniel Garcia

Harkening back to their jaw-dropping match in the 2024 Continental Classic, Daniel Garcia and Kyle Fletcher reignite their one-on-one rivalry on Saturday night. Moreover, these two have been on opposite sides over the past month as Paragon and Garcia have teamed up to go to war with the Don Callis Family and, at times, FTR. Both competitors are eager to secure victory and gain valuable momentum in the singles division.

Willow Nightingale in Action

Following interference from Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir that cost her a prime opportunity at the No. 1 spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In: Texas — an opportunity coincidentally seized by Nightingale’s former friend, Kris Statlander — Willow Nightingale looks to bounce back when she’ll be in action on Collision 100!
