Hot Takes on Jazz’s Kyle Filipowski vs. Mobley, Warriors With Ace Out Due to Injury

The Utah Jazz fell to 0-2 in the NBA Summer League on Sunday night, but they still received some solid individual performances.

Kyle Filipowski once again played well with 21 points, while Cody Williams chipped in 22 points with Ace Bailey once again sidelined with an injury.

Filipowski did most of his work in the first and fourth quarters, and while the point total stands out, he turned in some solid plays on the defensive end as well.

Williams had a rough first half, but he took over in the second half to allow the Jazz to have a shot of attempting a comeback.

Williams and Filipowski were the only two Jazz regulars who played a significant amount of minutes on Sunday.

Isaiah Collier started the game, but he was on the floor for just 20 minutes. He scored nine points and added five rebounds and four assists.

The Warriors were led by 22 points from Gabe Madsen off the bench.

Isaiah Mobley, the younger brother of Evan Mobley, was not as successful with four points in 21 minutes.

Utah will be back in action on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs, while the Warriors face the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday.
