HOUSTON – Fourth of July is on Friday and the skies will light up across the area, celebrating the anniversary of America’s independence from England.

We have compiled a list of several big firework shows and events planned across the Houston area.

Houston (Downtown and Core Areas)

1. Liberty Jubilee at Buffalo Bayou

• Time: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Fireworks ~9:30 p.m.)
