Dakota Johnson Wears Tiny Bikini During Ibiza Getaway with Kate Hudson

Dakota Johnson is chasing the sun — and she’s bringing a famous friend along for the ride.

The Materialists actress, 35, was seen enjoying time in the sun while going for a yacht ride in Ibiza, Spain, on July 1. The star wasn’t alone, though — she brought famous friend Kate Hudson for the summer outing.

The pair of friends were spotted enjoying time on the yacht and both wore tiny bikinis.

Johnson showed off her toned figure in a white triangle bikini top worn with a matching white cheeky bottom.

The star looked effortless and was spotted wearing her hair, drenched with ocean water, pushed out of her face.

Hudson also opted for a tiny two piece bikini — hers consisted of a yellow triangle, string bikini top with delicate ruffled details around the cup, while the bottom consisted of a matching yellow and white side tie bikini with white floral details.

After taking a dip into the ocean, the actresses were joined by Hudson’s stylist Sophie Lopez, who wore a black two-piece swimsuit, on a large white pool float.

Johnson’s Ibiza trip comes less than a month after PEOPLE confirmed on June 4 that she and Coldplay singer Chris Martin ended their years-long on-off relationship.

“Dakota’s doing well. The split wasn’t exactly a shock,” a source close to Johnson told PEOPLE on June 23, noting that the actress and Martin, 48, “had the same issues for a while.”

“She wants to live her life very intentionally — she doesn’t want to have any regrets,” the source told PEOPLE of Johnson. “She loves all her creative projects and is excited about her career. She believes there is more to life than work, though. She wants a meaningful life on all levels.”

During Johnson’s relationship with Martin, she and Martin’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, “developed a close friendship” with each other — and there’s no signs of that changing any time soon, according to sources.

On June 6, a source told PEOPLE that the Fifty Shades of Grey star and the Goop founder “have grown close over the years and Gwyneth even considers Dakota family.”

“There’s a genuine mutual respect between Gwyneth and Dakota, and they have a lot in common,” the source added. “They both grew up in the spotlight, have been in the business for years, and really relate to each other’s experiences.”
