West Haven Emergency Operations Center prepared for potential severe weather
East Haven Public Services Superintendent of Operations Charlie Coyle told News 8, “We just take it one day at a time and see how it comes along. There is really not too much we can do, and hopefully we don’t get any damage. I think most of the people down here are aware of what the situation is from time to time, and just react to where the weather comes.”
News 8 was in the area of Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury throughout Tuesday night as thunderstorms passed by in the distance.
