Tyler Hynes is planning a special Christmas in July surprise for his fans, and Ryan Paevey is going to be there too.
Hynes and Paevey are part of a group of Hallmark stars attending an event called Christmas in a Small Town July 25-27 in Dahlonega, Georgia. And while he’s there, Hynes is planning to shake things up a little.
Tyler Hynes Will Be Having Live Fireside Chats with Hallmark Podcasters
In an Instagram post, Hynes and Christmas in a Small Town revealed that he’s planning to do something a little different for the Georgia event and the guests attending. Rather than having a panel discussion where he answers questions from a single moderator, Hynes will be having fireside chats with different podcasters. And those chats will be recorded live in front of the guests attending Christmas in a Small Town.
The post reads, in part, “He’s kindly asked to set up a cozy stage where selected podcasters will sit down with Tyler in front of our live audience for a series of beautifully recorded conversations, complete with pro audio, video, and editing. A keepsake for each podcaster to use to support their individual channels and a unique live experience for our audience. All admission ticket holders at the Convocation Center at UNG are welcome.”
The fireside chats will then end with a big group boot shot toast!
Hynes is attending a lot of special events in the coming months. Among them are the Christmas Cruise November 6-10 and the Hallmark Christmas Experience November 28-30 and December 19-21. He’s even making an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 on July 24.
Ryan Paevey Will be Attending the Christmas in a Small Town Event for the Whole Weekend
Among the other stars attending Christmas in a Small Town is Ryan Paevey. This will be his first major event with other Hallmark stars in years, and the convention shared that he will be there all weekend to sign autographs and join the holiday experience.
Admission tickets and meet and greet tickets for Christmas in a Small Town are still on sale. Add-on tickets stopped being on sale as of Friday, July 18, to give the hosts time to put together holiday packages. However, attendees can still purchase add ons with cash at the convention itself.

Back in January, Paevey sold tickets for a two-day IOU Tour on April 12 and 13. The event took place at Shiku Sushi restaurant in La Jolla, California. Since then, he’s been dropping hints about returning for a new Hallmark movie.
