The 2025 Open Championship comes to an end on Sunday with the final round at Royal Portrush. Open Championship tee times for Sunday’s final round won’t be determined until Round 3 is complete Saturday evening. Once they are released they will be reproduced at the bottom of this post. For now, we can estimate what the Round 4 tee times will be.
Predicting Open Round 4 tee times
We don’t yet know the final-round tee times for this week’s Open Championship, but we know that Sunday has the makings of a historic major finale.
Will Scottie Scheffler claim his second major win of the season and further stake his claim as the best player alive? Can Rory McIlroy pull off a magical comeback and win in his home country? Or will someone else take charge and create a breakthrough major moment of his own?
We’ll find out the official Sunday tee times for this week’s Open after the final putt drops Saturday night.
As was the case for Round 3, competitors will play the final round in pairings of two players based on leaderboard position. The leaders will tee off last Sunday afternoon, with the players at the bottom of the leaderboard starting the round in the early morning.

We can also look to the past get an idea of what the Round 4 tee times will be. On Sunday at the 2019 Open Championship at Royal Portrush, Ashton Turner teed off first at 2:32 a.m. ET, while Tommy Fleetwood and eventual winner Shane Lowry teed off in the final pairing at 8:47 a.m. ET.
But in 2019, Sunday tee times were pushed up due to bad weather. So we can expect final-round tee times for the 2025 Open to fall into a slightly later window than in 2019.
